The Donkey Rubber: A Playful Galaxy Beidou 5 Spin-Off
Warning: Not edible. Not for official competition.
The Donkey Rubber was born from a flash of inspiration. Lao P immediately found a designer and a professional layout artist to work on it, and Galaxy threw its full support behind the project — and so this rubber, equal parts fun and performance, came to be.
The topsheet design features a duck-billed donkey paired with cartoon lettering, the pinyin ‘Lv’ and the internet slang ‘666’ — plenty of playful character. The rubber itself is based on the well-liked Galaxy Beidou 5, with performance optimizations: it keeps the original lightly tacky topsheet and the very high margin for error and stability, while improving throughput and refining the feel. It pairs with inner-fiber, outer-fiber and pure-wood blades alike, so it’s highly compatible. This run is made only in 39-degree black, for forehand use; other specs will be decided later depending on demand.
The rubber has no registered ITTF number and cannot be used in official competition.
