9: Saviga
Ah, I went to the Saviga booth and was so busy chatting with Old Shi that I forgot to take photos. We chatted happily, and I only took one shot. There is also that Wenqiong I received earlier. Both belong to the new Pojie, or Breaking Boundaries, series. There are too many details to explain clearly, because I have not started playing it. Currently, the market’s more common impression of the Wenqiong is hard and springy. Now there is also a Wenqiong-S, which is more mellow on the basis of the original Wenqiong. More details — we only earn the right to share after playing it.
Saviga blades have always been made solid. Including the Yanyang, the Rock Goat, that I have sold for 7 years (this day I chatted a long time with Old Shi about the possibilities of a Rock Goat 7th Anniversary, especially performance exploration), and that Moyu which always had an audience — I saw several at the alumni cup. Gradually, I feel the difference between these traditional domestic brands and the new domestic brands. The former’s product solidity is absolutely sufficient, but they do not necessarily understand the current market well. The latter know how to hype through influencers and market operations, but sometimes make products a bit impetuously.

Continuing the topic, we just got to 729. The scene at this expo: 729 was one of the more deserted. Of course, as we always say, deserted does not necessarily mean poor sales. The well-reputed Battle series alone — I glued many sheets in a year. It is just that the market’s young people do not necessarily embrace this brand, because its promotion style is not trendy or timely enough. But in rubber, 729 really has deep heritage. The Battle 3 Purple Lightning has been a hot discussion point this year, generally well-rated. To my shame, I have not had time to play it. I will catch up later. Few other 729 products made waves. The double-layer sponge design (Taiji, Wuji) once boasted about two years ago has fallen silent.
11: Sanwei
Never mind Guobiao 3 — an absolute bestseller. It has sold so hot these two or three years that it could keep Sanwei alive (a joking remark). When recommending high-value forehand built-in-energy tacky rubber, I often mention Guobiao 3 and Gaobo Power AMG — convenient ball-bite, with enough bottom power. On blades, there are mainly three. The 75G, inner Japanese green-aramid carbon, currently well-reputed. The 75R, a Vis structure, but its fiber is the Taisu fiber H-GLC, an ultra-high-strength glass-carbon fiber. The last glass-carbon blade I played was the inner Hurricane King 3rd generation. Glass fiber itself is adept at adding spin; I wonder how outer glass-carbon will perform. There is also a new one, the Yun 981. A 9-wood-8-carbon structure — looking at this model, I want to take it home. The carbon felt used should be the same as the Ma Lin Soft Carbon. Over a decade ago, I played a 10-wood-9-carbon — that one leaned hard-springy, suited to close-table attack. I wonder how this one is.
